Teaching / Internship Positions

Seeking experienced educators or recent graduates to join us. This is a unique chance for educators at all stages of their career to grow and contribute to the development of our students in a unique and playful setting.  

Ideal Candidates: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, or working towards a bachelor’s degree in education or related field  

  • Has experience teaching Montessori principles and techniques.  

  • Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills 

  • Patient, adaptable, creative, engaging, organized, kind. 

  • Ability to lead, plan, organize, and implement program activities.  

  • Ability to accomplish tasks with independence, motivation and responsibility. 

  • Ability to resolve conflicts and creatively solve problems. 

  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills. 

 Responsiblities:

  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans, activities, and experiences that promote holistic development in social, emotional, and cognitive domains within the discipline of the visual arts or science based on weekly themes. 

  • Establish a fun, safe, enriching and supportive learning atmosphere. 

  • Direct camp counselors  

Camp Counselors

Ideal Candidates: 

  • At least 16 years of age.  

  • Experience working with children 

Responsibilities: 

  • Directly supervise children in ages ranging from 3-12 years old. Groups are divided by age-appropriate groupings. 

  • Assist camp teachers/leadership with lesson planning and facilitation 

  • Be flexible and fill in where needed 

  • Plan, organize and facilitate small group activities on the playground daily. 

  • Ensure that site is clean, organized and free of litter. 

  • Help groups move between activities 

  • Identify and respond to camper behavior issues. 

  • Monitor lunch bunch from 12:00 – 12:30 daily
